MEET ADRIANA OCAMPO SENIOR

Adriana Ocampo Senior is an award-winning thought-leader and change-maker, a Women and Hispanic advocate, a Best-Selling Author, and an international motivational speaker.  Adriana has three decades of experience in the aerospace industry, transforming businesses and driving operational excellence.  She excels in portfolio management, cross-functional leadership, and delivering strategic outcomes across geographically dispersed teams. Her expertise spans program management, business development, and supplier management, all while fostering innovation and efficiency.

Adriana has held a series of impactful leadership roles, including leading operational excellence for Boeing’s Global Technical Operations, integrating engineering services for Boeing and Embraer’s joint venture, and serving as Chief of Staff to senior executives. Her deep understanding of both commercial and defense sectors, coupled with her ability to navigate complex global partnerships, positions her as a key asset to any board.

Adriana began her career as a pioneer in transforming the Boeing Production System by implementing lean manufacturing practices, which helped improve efficiency and reduce waste in various production lines. Early in her tenure, she became a certified Lean+ Practitioner and Six Sigma Green Belt, leading key initiatives such as the F/A-18 Super Hornet Pulse Line Implementation and several lean transformations at Boeing facilities around the world, including in the Czech Republic, Arizona, and Seattle.

Her expertise in lean manufacturing played a pivotal role in optimizing complex processes, driving continuous improvement, and reducing operational costs, positioning her as a thought leader in production efficiency. Adriana’s ability to apply industrial engineering principles to real-world manufacturing challenges contributed to Boeing’s operational excellence and set the stage for her continued leadership in the aerospace industry.

Passionate about community and a champion for equity, and inclusion, Adriana is committed to advancing the representation of women and Hispanics in STEM fields.  She currently serves as the President of the DFW Hispanic 100 Latina Leaders organization, is a Lifetime Member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and actively serves on various boards, including High-Tech High Heels North Texas, where she focuses on expanding opportunities for growth and economic empowerment for traditional disadvantaged communities.

In 2024 Adriana established “The Ocampo-Senior STEM Scholarship” in tribute to her parents, with the purpose to empower and support Hispanic female college students to excel in their academic pursuits and became valuable contributors to the STEM community. 

Adriana is also the founder of T.I.A. (Transcend, Influence, Ascend), a Business Consulting and Executive/Leadership Coaching firm designed to propel individuals and organizations to new heights of success, and to build resilient, collaborative, and high-performing leaders.

Adriana has earned several accolated throughout her career for her impactful work as an executive and community leader.  Most notable awards and recognitions include the 2024 Rodrigo Garcia Founder’s Award by SHPE, 2024 Women of Distinction by the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC), and 2024 Empowering Latinas by United Latinas.  In 2018, Adriana was the first Hispanic and seventh female to be inducted into the University of Missouri Industrial Systems Engineering (ISE) Hall of Fame, and received the Women of Color in Technology Community Service Award for her dedication to serving the community and advancing STEM education. These accolades reflect Adriana’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and her passion for empowering others in the aerospace and STEM fields.

Adriana holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Maryville University. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, bringing a wealth of international and multicultural experience to her work.
